常見英文表達 

最自然的表達方式 (Most natural expression): 

"I need to take out the trash. I'll get back to you when I return."
「我要去倒垃圾,我回來再和你聯絡。」

中文學習者容易犯的錯誤 

❌ "I will go throw garbage, I contact you when I back."

  • 錯誤:動詞使用不當,句子結構不完整
  • 問題:"throw garbage" 不是自然表達,缺少"will" 和動詞 "am"

❌ "I must dump the rubbish, I will call you after I come back."

  • 錯誤:"dump the rubbish" 較英式,在美式英語不太常用
  • 問題:"must" 太強烈,好像是非常緊急的事情

正確用法

✅ "I have to take out the garbage. I'll contact you when I get back."
「我須要去倒垃圾。我回來後會與你聯絡。」

✅ "I'm going to throw away the trash. I'll get in touch with you after I return."
「我要去扔垃圾。我回來後會與你取得聯繫。」

常用/日常表達 

非正式用法:

  • "Gotta take the trash out real quick. I'll text you when I'm done."
    「得趕快去倒垃圾。我完成(好了)後會發訊息給你。」
  • "I'm gonna run the garbage out. Be back in a sec and I'll call you then."
    「我要趕快去倒垃圾。馬上回來! 然後會(再)打給你。」

正式用法 :

  • "I need to dispose of the waste at the moment. I shall contact you upon my return."
    「我現在需要去處理垃圾。我回來後會與您聯繫。」

實用詞彙 

  • take out the trash/garbage = 倒垃圾(美式最常用)
  • throw away the trash = 扔掉垃圾
  • get back to you = 回覆你、再聯繫你
  • get in touch = 取得聯繫

練習範例 

  1. "I need to take the garbage out before the truck comes. I'll call you back in about five minutes." 「我需要在垃圾車來之前把垃圾拿出去。我五分鐘後再打給你。」
