- 詢問剛才的位置：
"Where did you just come from?"
「你剛才從哪裡來？」
"Where are you coming from?"
「你從哪裡過來的？」 - 詢問旅行出發地：
"Where did you fly in from?"
「你從哪裡飛過來的？」
"Where did you drive from?"
「你從哪裡開車過來的？」
B. 客氣、有禮貌的說法
- "May I ask where you're coming from?"
「(方便)請問你從哪裡過來？ 」 - "I hope you don't mind me asking - where did you travel from?"
「希望你不介意我詢問您是從哪裡過來的？ 」 - "How was your trip? Where did you come from?"
「你的旅程(途)如何？你從哪裡來的？ 」
C. 中文學習者容易犯的錯誤
❌ 錯誤："Where do you pass from?"
你從哪裡經過？
錯誤點及解釋：
pass from→ 語意錯誤，pass指「經過、路過」，不是「來自」的意思- 混淆了「經過某地」和「來自某地」的概念
- 雖然語法結構正確，但完全表達錯意思
- 應使用
come from而非pass from來表達出身地
❌ 錯誤："From where you come?"
從哪裡你來？
from where 放在句首時，後面應為倒裝句Where do you come from? 或 Where are you from?do 來構成疑問句
❌ 錯誤："Which place you pass by?"
你經過哪個地方？
錯誤點及解釋：
- 疑問句語法錯誤，缺少助動詞
do，應為Which place do you pass by? pass by同樣指「經過、路過」，語意不符合詢問出身地的意圖- 語序錯誤，疑問詞後應有助動詞
- 混淆了「經過某地」和「來自某地」的表達
